While living in Boston in 1989, I embarked on a creative journey, called Keys of Infinity, with like-minded artists who helped to shape an interdisciplinary, improvisational group of musicians, visual artists, dancers and poets. Music had always played a central force in my creative environment, but the opportunity to collaborate with these artists and perform as a painter was very exciting. Since music was at the core of our production, it was assumed that Keys referred to musical keys. However, our Keys referred to love, as a central force for peace and collaboration. Over the years we performed in such venues as the Knitting Factory and No. Moore Blues Café in New York City; the Cambridge Multicultural Arts Center, Middle East Café and Zeitgeist Gallery in Cambridge, MA; Mobius Space for Experimental Art, USES’ Harriet Tubman Galley and Children’s Art Centre, and the Black Indian Inn in Boston, MA. Performing allowed me to experience the synergy of artists working together in the moment. In 1996, I performed live during the reception for my three-week exhibit at Gallery at the Pentheny in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. During an open studio event at my Los Angeles studio in 2012, I collaborated with musician Henry Alexander, who plays saxophone and other reed instruments. We performed live throughout the day.

The Guadulesa Studio
MATRIx 5:Tones of Resonance
In search of evidence to prove the power of sound over matter, Guadulesa studied the five healing tones utilized by her Tsalagi (Cherokee) ancestors in their medicine practices. Guadulesa used the tones as an art medium to create a set of 30 mixed medium paintings and gained empirical knowledge of the tones’ effects on the human body. Through the publication of her journal notes with 36 color images, she takes us on a hand-held journey through sound, meditation and art-making.

Canvas on Print
Our canvas prints are digital images often taken from larger paintings. We may photograph various sections of a large painting. So the smaller prints work well together. The canvas prints will not fade and are shipped ready to hang. Matching pillows may be commissioned upon request.
At the deepest level, the creative process and the healing process arise from a single source. When you are an artist, you are a healer; a wordless trust of the same mystery is the foundation of your work and its integrity ………
